Thanks to Windsor committee for the opportunity to judge at this lovely, well laid out show, the open in/out rings much appreciated by dogs and exhibitors alike, especially during the heatwave we were suffering/enjoying. Thanks to the exhibitors for the opportunity to go over so many quality dogs. The numbers in the open classes full of quality and champions was reminiscent of the “good old days” I really had to split hairs, on another day I’m sure placing would have been different. In my last few appointments I have commented on the number of Keeshond carrying excess weight, I am pleased that I did not find any this time, however, I did find a lot of very close rear ends, obviously affecting movement. All were well presented, clean harsh coats, some losing, some growing, some still looking their best. I hope you all enjoyed your day, whatever the placing.

Veteran 2 (1) 1ST RCC Ch Kichigai’s Only The Lonley VW (Mr C & Miss N L Hickson) Well balanced handsome dog, harsh coat with good definition, lovely head and eyes, good spring of rib and depth of chest. Light tight cat feet. This boy goes on and on, his performance is now more polished, he has not realised the years have passed and has drive that puts some younger males to shame, was pleased to see him take reserve in the veteran stakes. It does not seem six years since I awarded him his 3rd CC.
Puppy Dog 5 (2) 1ST BP. Zandvoort Mr Sunshine (Miss A Bennett) Good sized male, dark eye with clear markings for only six months, moved well with none of the usual slackness seen in young puppies, I hope he fills out a little but does not grow on much more, proportions good at the moment. 2ND Amikirs Uncle Fester (Mr G R & Mrs S Rose) Lively dog misbehaving for his handler today, Good coat and colour good head proportions and nicely balanced, needs to settle to make the most of his potential. 3RD Neradmik First Noel (Mr C Fedeli)
Junior Dog 2 (1) 1ST Voila Mon Vadim Damour for Tykees (Imp Fra) (Miss T A Church) Nice male of good size, very lethargic today, but did carry his well plumed high set tail over his back when moving. Good angulation but did not have usual Keeshond sparkle, his mind obviously elsewhere.

Limit Dog 3 1ST Winklestar Namid (Mrs S & Mrs A Johnston & Atkinson) A compact male, good colour and definition, lovely dark almond shaped eye, good wedge of head, has lost a little head coat, but not enough to spoil his outline. 2ND Liefkees Amore (Miss J Saunders) Correct sized male, well put together, good spring of rib, good head and dentition, harsh clean coat, moved well with good drive. 3RD Shelderon Stemmig Sage with Tykees (Miss T A Church)
Open Dog 6 1ST DCC, BOB Ch Skyline’s Outlander at Lekkerbek (Imp Usa) (Mrs J A & Miss S A & Mrs S & Dr K Miles & Dean & Cullen & Cullen) Handsome, good sized male but nice and compact with short loin and good tuck up. Lovely wedge to head with definite stop, dark muzzle good proportions, well set on tail, good colour, moved with good drive today and behaved like a top show dog. I’m sure he will have a winning future. 2ND Ch Neradmik Shine On Harvey Moon (Mrs Je Ring) I have admired this boy from first seeing him, a real typical Keesy male, Handsome, masculine without being coarse, good colour and definition, lovely tight cat feet, also loved his rapport with handler, moved well with good drive. 3RD Ch Divnyi Drug Dar (Imp Rus) (Mrs G A Brunt)

Puppy Bitch 4 (0) 1ST Neradmik Tinseltown at Baleissa (Mrs Je Ring) At six months lovely feminine compact bitch puppy, nice wedge good ear placement dark eye and muzzle, not feeling the heat at all, full of bounce and spirit, good colour and definition for one so young, good tight cat feet lots of potential, I’m sure she will mature well. 2ND Samoykees Ippolitas Kisses (Mr A J & Mrs J M Fitches) Slightly more mature at eight months, another quality bitch puppy, again with good colour and definition, moved well when settled, just preferred the overall confirmation of one on the day. 3RD Torrikees You Wear It Well (Mr I & Mrs A Passmore)
Junior Bitch 2 (0) 1ST Bargeway Crystal Clear (Mrs V Tew) Just out of puppy, good head proportions, super bite, with correct ear placement, they looked a little large, but on checking are the right size perhaps has lost a little head coat, good colour and definition, moved well. 2ND Allforus Miracle of Love (Mrs C Bell) Sadly out of coat, this spoiled her outline (owner said afterwards she was in her bikini), the coat left in was harsh of good colour and definition, dark eye of correct shape. Very lively. I don’t think any of the puppies were feeling the heat.
Post Graduate Bitch 4 (0)1ST BCC Zandvoort Moonlight (Mrs G A Brunt) My surprise of the day, Feminine and quality. Good head and muzzle, correct proportions, good ear placement, dark eye, nothing overdone, good substance with moderate loin and tuck up, well set on tail, really moved well with good drive. 2ND Zandvoort Eternal Flame for Pyrekees (Mr M & Ms S Henson & Dearman) Good proportions, nice wedge to head, everything in balance, good colour, well set on tail moved well. 3RD Tykees Soul Searching (Miss T A Church)
Limit Bitch 2 (1) 1ST Tykees Full of Chaos (Mrs S Johnston) Not co-operating with her handler today, very feminine, with a kind soft expression, well placed ears, good colour and definition, but starting to cast, correct amount of bone for bitch, good angulation.
Open Bitch 8 (2) 1ST RBCC Fr Ch Ostara Vita De La Lumiere D’hemera (Mr C Fedeli) Quality bitch, first in a really strong open bitch class, pushed hard for the ticket. Good wedge and correct head proportions, in good coat with good colour and definition, compact but not too much, good angulation, well set tail. Really moved well at one with her handler. 2ND Ch Neadmik Tantrums N Tiaras (Mrs Je Ring) Lovely feminine compact lively bitch, she has everything in the right place, nothing overdone, correct eye with good ear placement, good colour and definition, well set on tail with nice plume, lovely tight cat feet, really moved well. 3RD Neradmik Shimmer N Shine (Mrs J Sharp-Bale)
