33 Breed Notes – Bournemouth 2018

At Bournemouth Gill Brunt (Zandvoort) had drawn an entry of 21 keesies with 6 absentees. The entries for both Junior and Open bitch were all absent.

Best Dog with Best of Breed was George & Sharon Rose’s Ch Rossvale Master of Destiny for Esorkees (Ch Neradmik Handsome Hero x Rossvale Scarlett’s Secret) with Sue Lindsay’s Mezanda Merry Starshower (Nor Ch Dungens Nice Guy x Mezanda Mai Starshine) winning Reserve Best Dog.

Best Bitch was Audrey White’s Neradmik Vanilla Ice Morvania (Ch Samkees With Love to Neradmik x Ch Neradmik Miss Hollyberry) and the Reserve Best Bitch went to Vicky Marshall’s Torrikees Made In Heaven at Devonia (Ch Winklestar Hadar x Ch Torrikees Victoria’s Secret)

Best Puppy was Sue Lindsay’s Cosmic Dream’s Damn You Look Good For Mezanda (Imp Nor) (Dungens Never Ending Dream x Dungens Kosmic Love)

What with mid-week shows as well as weekend ones, exhibitors are getting spoilt for choice – or exhausted trying to do both!!
At the Vale of Glamorgan open show which was held the Wednesday after Paignton, Sue Lindsay and Mezanda Merry Starshower got Best of Breed and a third place in the utility group. Going one better, Sue and her young Asta, Cosmic Dream’s Damn You Look Good for Mezanda (Imp Nor) got Best Puppy and then went on to win the Utility Puppy Group; all under Maltese Judge Stephen Young (Taxibixi)

Our intrepid European exhibitors, Andy & Jean Fitches and Dawn Gregory, were joined by Mel Harris and Alison Passmore for the final three shows of the week – The Benelux Winners Show (Judge Onishchenko Georgiy (Ukraine)), the Specialities (Judge Velez Pico Roberto (Puerto Rico)) and finally the World Dog Show (Judge Klucniece Vija (Latvia)); but this time none of the UK dogs were ‘in the cards’. Eerondaali In Flames Again ‘suffered the same fate’ as Tammy as although he was Best of Breed at the World Show and Best Opposite Sex at Benelux, he is still a junior, so had to settle for the CAC at both shows.
